Philosophical Justification for Psyche

A Philosophical Justification for Psyche

Kelly, E. F., Kelly, E. W., Crabtree, A., Grosso, M., & Gauld, A. (2007). Irreducible Mind: Toward a Psychology for the 21st Century. Plymouth, United Kingdom: Rowman and Littlefield.

The book, Irreducible Mind, introduced an interesting phenomenon that I had never encountered before. Some of the Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists use the First Law of Thermodynamics or the Conservation of Energy to FALSIFY Cartesian Dualism and the existence of Psyche, Soul, or Non-Local Consciousness. These people equate energy with physical matter through E = mc2; and then, they state that they can’t possibly imagine how some invisible intangible non-physical substance can influence and control physical matter. In a fascinating twist, these people state that Cartesian Dualism, Non-Physical Substances, and Psyche violate the First Law of Thermodynamics which they define as the Conservation of Physical Matter. These people equate physical matter with energy, and then claim that the First Law of Thermodynamics or the Conservation of Physical Matter falsifies Psyche, Syntropy, Non-Physical Substances, and God. Their sophistry is simply amazing.

Your chosen world-view determines the definitions that you give to scientific concepts irrespective of what has actually been experienced and observed. The Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists teach and preach that ONLY entropic physical matter exists; therefore, these people consistently define BOTH the First Law of Thermodynamics and the Second Law of Thermodynamics as the “Conservation of Physical Matter” and the “Conservation of Entropy”. One error leads to another, which then leads to another.

I own and have read from many different books and articles that use philosophical sophistry to prove that psyche, mind, consciousness, choice, or syntropy does not exist. The best they can do is to convince you that psyche, spirit, or soul does not exist. They really can’t prove that it doesn’t exist. It’s impossible to prove that something doesn’t exist; but, the Materialists, Naturalists, and Atheists try to do so anyway.

I also own and have read from many different books and philosophers who use philosophical sophistry to provide philosophical justification or a philosophical foundation for psyche, mind, consciousness, awareness, choice, and syntropy. Although interesting to study and think about at times, it’s really not convincing either if you choose not to believe in it. Our beliefs are chosen into existence by our Human Psyche; and, the Human Psyche can choose to believe that the Human Psyche doesn’t exist.

I prefer the scientific approach. I define science as observation and experience. Psyche has been experienced and observed; therefore, we KNOW that it exists. Quod erat demonstrandum! Simple. Logical. Parsimonious. Real. True.

There are times when I don’t like philosophy and philosophers. They can say a lot without actually saying anything useful or interesting. It ends up being lots of obtuse, unintelligible, circular, tautological wordiness that gets us nowhere when they are done. The Materialists, Naturalists, Nihilists, and Atheists are philosophers, not scientists. These people deny the observations and experiences of the human race; and then, they replace those observations and experiences with philosophical sophistry instead.

I have learned to despise philosophical sophistry that never actually gets to the point and never gets to the point of making sense. An essay and book called “Reconsidering Psychology” by Faulconer and Williams is a case in point – there are sixty pages of words within the first essay of the book that never seem to come to a point and never seem to make a point. They say a lot without actually saying anything useful or interesting; and, when you are done, you still have no idea what point they were trying to make. Science needs a philosophical and metaphysical foundation; but, it also needs to make sense when they are done with it.

Instead of philosophical sophistry, I like getting to the point, revisiting the point over and over again from many different angles, and hammering on the point to the point of exhaustion until it becomes solid, obvious, and clear to me how things really work. I learn best by trying to explain my scientific theories, hypotheses, and ideas to someone else. I want everything to be plain and simple to understand. I want everything to be obvious, clear, and to-the-point when I’m done with it. I like power points. I like scoring points. It’s what I choose to do.

Okay, half-way into their essay “Reconsidering Psychology” Faulconer and Williams make the point that psyche, or consciousness, was defined differently by the ancients than it currently is by the moderns. The ancients defined it as Divine-centered; and, the moderns define it as self-centered. I prefer to define it as what it really is.

Psyche is the innate intelligence within all the different forms of energy which gives that energy the inherent ability to understand, follow, and obey God’s Laws and God’s Commands.

My definition is axiomatic and LAW. It’s the Law of Psyche. The Gods have observed that all the different forms of energy have some level of intelligence or some degree of intelligence within them, which the Gods call “Intelligence” and we humans call “Psyche” or “Soul”. Energy can be formed into many different things, including entropic physical matter; and, energy’s intelligence or psyche comes with it no matter what that energy gets formed into. Psyche is the intelligence within energy; and, all the different forms of energy are intelligent and psychic.

The first law of thermodynamics is a version of the law of conservation of energy, adapted for thermodynamic systems. The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system is constant; energy can be transformed from one FORM to another but can be neither created nor destroyed.

I choose to give pre-eminence to the Conservation of Energy or the Conservation of Psyche. The First Law of Thermodynamics is the Conservation of Energy or the Conservation of Psyche. Syntropy is the First Law of Thermodynamics. Syntropy is Eternal Life. The Life Force or Psyche is always conserved. Technically, my definition for the First Law of Thermodynamics also falsifies or contradicts Cartesian Dualism. I treat energy or psyche as the primal construct. Therefore, physical matter and spirit matter are simply different FORMS of Organized Energy. Physical matter is Organized Energy or Concentrated Energy. It’s ALL energy. Entropic physical matter, syntropic physical matter, spirit matter, and dark matter are ALL comprised of Energy; and, Psyche is the innate intelligence within all the different FORMS of energy, including physical matter and spirit matter or dark matter.

Gravity, magnetism, the nuclear forces, quantum waves, dark energy, invisible intangible forces or fields, quantum fields, and psyche are different FORMS of Energy. Entropy is an emergent property of entropic physical matter, which is made from different FORMS of Energy. The spiritual or the quantum or the non-physical is NOT a different substance. It’s ALL energy, including both the physical matter and the spirit matter or dark matter. Physical matter is comprised of different FORMS of energy. Physical matter is comprised of the same substance as spirit matter and psyche. It’s ALL energy. Energy can influence energy. Psyche is Energy. Psyche or Non-Local Consciousness can influence and control the different FORMS of energy, including spirit matter and physical matter.

Energy or Psyche is conserved meaning that it is syntropic. It cannot be made, and it cannot be destroyed. It is eternal and everlasting. Entropic physical matter is made from raw energy or available energy, which means that entropic physical matter is NOT conserved. The quantity of physical matter and entropy changes over time, and they can be transformed into something else besides entropic physical matter anytime the Gods decide to do so. These truths are the Ultimate Law of Thermodynamics.

The Ultimate Law of Thermodynamics differentiates between what is being conserved and what is not conserved. Anything that is made is NOT conserved. Energy and the innate intelligence within that energy are being conserved. Psyche or Energy is conserved. In contrast, entropic physical matter is made from raw energy. Anything that is made is not being conserved. Entropic physical matter is made from different FORMS of energy. The FORM is never conserved. The FORM can always be transformed into something else. Physical matter and entropy are NOT conserved. This explains everything that has been observed. This is the Ultimate Law of Thermodynamics.

When it comes to the answer to life, the universe, and everything – it ALL comes down to how you choose to define “Conservation of Energy”. The Physicalists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists define it as the “Conservation of Physical Matter” or the “Conservation of Entropy” because these people erroneously believe that ONLY entropic physical matter exists. In contrast, I define “Conservation of Energy” as Syntropy, Eternal Life, Life Force, or the Conservation of Psyche. We both can’t be right. These ideas are mutually exclusive. The verification of the one falsifies the other. Science is observation and experience. The Conservation of Psyche or the Life Force has been experienced and observed; whereas, physical matter and entropy are never conserved – their amount or quantity is changing all the time.

So, how is Psyche or Intelligence identified or recognized? It all comes down to choice. Choice is a product of Psyche, Intelligence, Consciousness, or Awareness. Psyche is synonymous with choice, and a specific Psyche or Intelligence is cornered, pin-pointed, and identified by the choices that it makes.

The Gods can form energy into anything and can control everything, except for our choices or our psyche. Psyche, Choice, or Intelligence is the fundamental unit of reality. This is a Psyche Ontology. The Gods cannot create Psyche or Intelligence, and the Gods can’t destroy it either, which means that the Gods cannot control our choices. The Gods can determine consequences for our choices; but, they cannot make our choices for us because then they would no longer be choices. It all comes down to choice. Choice is a function of psyche or intelligence. Choices are produced by psyche or intelligence. Psyche or Intelligence is identified by the choices that it makes. Choice is the surest sign of Psyche’s existence.

As I see it, the only philosophical justification that psyche or mind really needs is the empirical fact that it has been experienced and observed. Science is observation and experience; and, Psyche has been experienced and observed, therefore we KNOW that it is real and truly exists. That’s all the philosophical justification that it needs. Observation and experience trump philosophical sophistry every time. Once it has been experienced and observed, the philosophical debate should be over. Of course, that doesn’t stop the Materialists, Naturalists, Darwinists, Nihilists, and Atheists from trying to convince you otherwise; but, these people are wrong to do so.

Psyche or Intelligence is experienced first-hand by out-of-body explorers as an immaterial viewpoint in space. Whenever they go looking for their own psyche, there’s nothing there to be seen or found. Psyche or Intelligence is seen as a pinprick of light, a point particle of light, or a spark of light.

If there is such a thing as a point particle or an infinite singularity, Psyche is it. Psyche, Intelligence, or Thought is the fundamental unit of reality. Psyche is the “elementary particle” that the physicists are looking for. A psyche ontology is the ultimate model of reality and existence. Psyche is the ultimate cause, which means that psyche is the ultimate causal agent or the ultimate causal force. Psyche gets straight to the point.

Out-of-body explorers have noticed that it is their immaterial intangible Psyche or Consciousness who has experiences and forms memories, not their spirit body and not their physical body. Your spirit body and physical body don’t have experiences and don’t form memories while your psyche is separated from them. It’s the Psyche or the Intelligence who has experiences and forms memories of those experiences. That is what has been experienced and observed.

Psyche or Intelligence has been experienced and observed by out-of-body explorers and during near-death experiences; therefore, we KNOW that it is real and truly exists. That’s all the philosophical justification and philosophical foundation that it needs.
